Group Rates

The Outpost is an exciting destination for hundreds of groups every year. Perfect for school and church groups, tour buses, scouts, corporate outings, summer camps, and family reunions, our group packages make it easy to experience North Georgia’s gold mining history. You’ll become a prospector from the 1800s and mine for real gemstones and gold that you can keep! We provide everything you need to have a great time and be successful, and our knowledgeable staff is eager to help you along the way. We welcome groups and offer special rates for groups of 20 or more by advance reservation only.

All groups must be adequately supervised and must pay in one payment as a group upon arrival, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please allow a little extra travel time and at least 2 hours for your visit— 3 hours is even better if you plan on having a picnic or shopping. If your group is visiting several attractions in one day, we recommend making the Outpost your first stop. We also suggest confirming your reservation and checking the weather by calling the day before. It can be cool in the mountains; light jackets or raincoats are a good idea, especially in spring or fall. All groups must arrive at least 2 hours before closing.

Our facility is both wheelchair and stroller accessible. Special events and groups are always welcome—there’s a big parking lot and plenty of goodies for everyone! Parking is always free and we never charge admission.
